Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh herbs Mint, lemon balm, or rosemary
  • ½ cup Honey or sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Lemon juice Freshly squeezed preferred
  • ½ tsp Citric acid Optional, for longer shelf life

Instructions
 

  • Bring water to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
  • Add fresh herbs and let steep for about 5 minutes.
  • Strain the liquid into a bowl and discard the herbs.
  • Stir in honey (or sugar) while the mixture is warm until dissolved.
  • Add lemon juice and citric acid (if using), then mix well.
